Uniforms/Dress Code
Johnson has a uniform policy. Many local and state school districts have successfully implemented school-wide, required uniforms in grades K through 5. The report from these schools has indicated positive results. Improvement has been noted in attendance, behavior, and above all, achievement.
All students are required to wear the appropriate uniform apparel daily (except on Spring Picture Day and/or on designated Spirit Days that are planned in advance and more specific criteria is sent home prior to these events).
Students receive a consequence for being out of uniform. The nurse will send students who attend school out of uniform a change of clothes if it is available or the parents are called to bring a change of clothing. Johnson's school uniform is as follows.
